Product Family

Tempered Glass

Heat-treated safety glass engineered to fracture into small, blunt fragments rather than sharp shards on impact.

Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass and rapidly cooling its surfaces, placing the outer layers under compression relative to the core.

This process increases mechanical and thermal resistance compared with untreated glass and changes its breakage behaviour to reduce the risk of sharp fragments.

It is commonly supplied as a single pane or as the base material for laminated and insulating configurations.
