Insulating Glass
Sealed multi-pane units separated by a spacer and dry air or gas cavity, used to improve thermal performance.
Insulating glass units (IGUs) consist of two or more panes separated by a sealed spacer, creating a gas-filled cavity between the sheets.
The sealed cavity reduces heat transfer through the assembly compared with a single pane, supporting building envelope performance.
IGUs can be built from tempered, laminated or coated glass depending on the specification.
