Laminated Glass reference image

Product Family

Laminated Glass

Two or more glass panes permanently bonded with an interlayer, holding fragments in place if the glass is broken.

Laminated glass is assembled from multiple glass plies bonded under heat and pressure with a polymer interlayer.

If the outer glass is broken, the interlayer is designed to keep fragments adhered, maintaining a degree of physical barrier and reducing fallout.

Interlayer type and pane composition can be adjusted for the acoustic, optical and structural requirements of a project.

Supported applications

  • Overhead glazing and skylights
  • Structural glass floors and stair treads
  • Balustrades and security glazing
  • Facades requiring acoustic or solar control
  • Curtain walls in multi-storey buildings
